Tom Oliver is an acclaimed artist, producer, and festival director with extensive experience across theatre, music, live events, and screen. A sharp Swiss Army knife in the international arts and entertainment industry, Tom is known for seamlessly moving between roles as an actor, singer, presenter, producer, and creative director—adapting effortlessly to the needs of each project.

 

As the Founder and CEO/Artistic Director of Wynnum Fringe Festival, The Augathella Spiegeltent, and Queensland Fringe Foundation, Tom has built dynamic platforms for independent artists and audiences to connect, transforming Wynnum Fringe into one of Queensland’s most exciting cultural events. In 2024, he and his team brought a rundown Spiegeltent back to life through a miraculous crowdfunding campaign, turning The Augathella into a vibrant touring venue and community hub.

 

Through his company Tom Oliver Productions (TOP), Tom creates and tours premium live productions across the world. The company is a direct extension of Tom’s personality—bold, creative, collaborative, and deeply connected to audiences. With a core team of four and a vast network of collaborators, TOP delivers world-class arts and entertainment experiences that make the impossible, possible.

Tom’s producing credits include the Australian premiere of Elf: The Musical at the Sydney Opera House (on behalf of John Frost AM and Crossroads Live Australia), the international season of Velvet at Hansa Theater in Hamburg (on behalf of Peter Rix AM), Rolling Thunder Vietnam (on behalf of Blake Entertainment) and touring productions with Rhonda Burchmore AM and acclaimed UK storytelling duo Wright & Grainger.

 

As a performer, Tom has played lead roles in every Australian state, as well as in New Zealand, the USA, Germany, Mexico, Asia, and even on international waters through the Bahamas. His recent stage highlights include FOURTEEN with Shake & Stir Theatre Co, Velvet opposite Marcia Hines AM (Australia, NZ, USA, Germany), and the lead role of Johnny in Rolling Thunder Vietnam, backed by the John Farnham Band. He was also plucked from Channel 9 to join Kylie Minogue’s inaugural team on The Voice Australia.

 

Tom regularly appears across mainstream television, radio, theatre, and social media, and is deeply connected across Australia’s arts and entertainment sector. His wide-ranging influence continues to grow globally.
